Adventures in Greece

For those who enjoy being outside by the water, Greece is the perfect destination. The deep blue waters of the Mediterranean contrasting with the unique architecture brings travelers from around the globe. Spending evenings dining at sidewalk cafes and strolling through markets while musicians serenade you is the ultimate charm of Greece.

Our clients describe Greece as “nothing short of spectacular!” In a thank you note, one of our clients said, “We made many cherished memories that will stay with us for many years to come.”

Greece is a destination with unique experiences and many different vibes, so choosing the right itinerary is imperative for a customized experience that honors the requested tone of the trip.  Partnering with the right guides is equally important to ensure a seamless unforgettable experience.

Popular itineraries include island hopping where private boats can take you to intimate coves to swim, picnic, and sunbathe. Mediterranean cruises make it easy to get a taste of many amazing Greek cities in one vacation.

We enjoyed blending into the culture of each place we visited.  For us, the private boat tour offered a customized experience visiting the islands and sights that our kids were interested in and that the adults enjoyed too. Isn’t that the ultimate goal?

Better yet, charter a private yacht with a captain and staff to cater to your every whim while exploring the popular islands of Greece and maybe even some lesser-known islands with their own story.

Unique Lodging:

Greece is a fantastic destination for villa rentals.  We offer many stunning locations like this villa with its own plunge pool and mountain views in Crete.

Food Culture

The food is AMAZING in Greece!  Who doesn’t love Greek food?  We had lunch on our balcony while enjoying the panoramic views.

Or if you want to eat like the locals, try some Greek street food in Athens.  There is nothing like it. Culinary experts say its some of the best tasting food you will find in Greece.

The food culture is particularly interesting in Crete as they grow almost everything right there on this self-sustaining island.

Popular foods in Greece include fresh fish caught daily and prepared in a minimalist style to highlight the delicate flavor of the fish.

Don’t forget dessert! Sample some of the amazing Greek desserts like baklava and traditional almond bisuits.

Wine

Did you know Greece doesn’t really get rain?  Yet Greece has amazing wine.  How can this be?  This is one of the most fascinating places to visit for winemaking. Take a tour of unique vineyards and learn how wine is made in their next to no rain climate.  In Santorini, vines grow in vine shaped baskets to capture and contain what little moisture they get.  You can even buy the baskets that the grapes were grown in. What a conversation piece!

The Island of Paros also has its own vineyard.

Athens

Athens is the home of the Acropolis.  Take a day to “storm the Acropolis”.  Once at the top, walk around the museum to learn the rich history of this landmark.

Capture the Olympic Glory inside the Panathenaic Stadium and learn how they trained for the very first Olympics held here in Athens.

We can arrange an Olympic workout and competition to relive and capture your own Olympic Glory just as it was for the 1st Olympians.

Crete and Corfu

Island Hopping in Greece is an adventure, every island is different and has its own vibe.

Corfu Cave.jpg

Crete and Corfu have family resorts that offer tubing for the kids out on the water.  Corfu has a waterpark that families love and Venetian forts and caves to explore.  My son had a blast on his tube as he was pulled through the azure waters of the Mediterranean sea.  The view from the boat ride was amazing for the rest of us as well.  My oldest son even took a turn at steering the boat, a memory he still talks about.

This property is frequented by some very famous people who would like for it to stay their secret piece of paradise.   Zykanthos has fantastic restaurants and some of the best beaches in Greece.

Navagio Beach clean and bright.jpg

This is Navagio Beach where the only way to the sand is via boat. Hike to the top of the cliffs to capture this iconic photo. Zykanthos has sea turtles and lots of marine life which makes it ideal for diving and snorkeling.

Hydra

Hydra’s elegant stone mansions, narrow alleys, churches, little shops, and a picturesque waterfront set the scene of an island fairytale! Given that there are no cars in Hydra, people usually get around by foot or by donkeys some of which you will see just walking around.  Because of this, the island’s roads are not clogged with traffic or fumes making it a truly authentic old-world experience.

Paros

Paros is just south of Mykonos. It is an Aegean Island famous for its great beaches, watersports and the fantastic vibe of its main town. Paros is a popular place for diving and there are many diving centers on the island. Windsurfing is a popular sport as well, with spots at Golden Beach and Pounda Bay.

Villas in Paros have spectacular views with the luxury of mountain top privacy.
